I'm not sure as I haven't seen the original Tremors is a while but if you are referring to the double barrel weapon Burt uses in his basement and following it is most likely a Double rifle, at least .375 H&H Mag but looking at the shells he loads it is more likely a .458 Lott, .416 Rigby, .500 Nitro Express, or maybe a .600 Nitro express. I've always wanted a double rifle but the price tag is HUGE! The least expensive double I've seen in .375 H&H is around $5000. I have a CZ Safari in .375 that runs around $1500 now. It is a sweet shooting bolt gun that I bought for around $500 the year is was introduced into the US. The doubles run in price from $8000 to over $40000 used. New doubles from a "name" builder is MUCH more expensive. Those guns are essentially hand made to fit you. A Holland and Holland
"Royal" double in .470 NE (Nitro Express) is listed for $230,000 on the Holland and Holland website. You really have got to have an "appreciation" for a well crafter, artfully engraved, firearm to buy one of these; not to mention your own silver mine!
In all the other Tremors movies Burt is using a .50 BMG - a Grizzly Big Bore in T2 and T3. In T4 his Hiram has a Punt gun in 2.5 gauge. In T5 he is stuck in Africa without his own weapons but still manages to get a .308 machine gun.
