So Tremors 5 has leaked online. Heard about it happening today and verified online, although I have not watched it I did watch the 2 minute sample to see if it was genuine. Now I am not sure if I want to watch it or wait on the Blue-ray in the mail. :/ Moral dilemmas. I will say that I am already pissed off at myself for watching the clip for a spoiler that was revealed.

Did what you saw look good at least?

Not going to even lie, I fought the urge to watch it for a few hours before I succumbed to the temptation. Lets see how to put this without any spoilers. There were several things that I really liked about the movie especially hints to previous movies. There was also some that I hated about the movie. It is not spoiling anything to say that the Ass Blasters and Graboids look considerably different, as we have all seen. I think this movie would have been immensely better if they had stuck with the original creatures, or even if they had changed them a little but that is a drastic change. I will have loads more to say next Tuesday when I do not have to worry about spoilers.
On a side note, as a sign of penance I ordered 2 additional copies of the Blue-Ray to help sales with the leak. :/

Yeah, from what I've been seeing of the new designs, they just seem so incredibly busy compared to the comparatively simple Graboids and ABs of the original films. I get changing things up for the purposes of creating a different region's variant of Graboid, but what we got here just seems to far fetched and over-designed to the point where it seems like a movie monster rather than something sort of tangible like the creatures in the previous films.

Is it at least... good? Good for a Tremors film anyway? I've been hyped for T5 for the last year and I am so damn nervous. I don't want to watch it early just because I'd feel guilty. How does it compare to the other films? Is it better than 3?

I don't know if I would say that it is better than 3. It is its own movie. Like someone else said on here who watched it, it does not at all feel like a Stampede film. It does not have the same feel of the Tremors movies/show at all. It is not bad, I didn't hate it, it is just not the same. Sometimes that is good for a series. I got some things right but it just went off its on way with some other things. Tuesday afternoon I will post a list of things that I found wrong with the movie and after you watch it you can let me know if you agree or disagree. It was good enough that I am still looking forward to getting my Blue Ray in the mail Tuesday to watch it, maybe that is some kind of answer as well.
