What the hell was she talking about, diminished life expectancy, E.B. was only supposed to live for a few months, and he's lived for 2 years

Eh, it's what moronic scientists do, make stuff up. But it bugs me that the other residents never addressed the issue, except when Nancy used 'El Blanco's the only graboid we know of to live past his expected metamorphosis' on Burt in the lab. I couldn't help screaming, "Exactly!!" at her when she said that.

I have a question about that same episode. Has anyone noticed when hurt and Nancy are at the research lab going over the data they show a clip of Burt standing there with what appears to be a small alien in a jar behind him? What is it?

I can't be sure since it doesn't show much, but my guess would be maybe an octopus?

I have the series from Amazon and missed the jar. I went and looked but didn't see it. Please give me a clue about the where in the episode and I'll go back through it again.

It's when Burt and Nancy are in Casey's lab, and Burt's kinda leaning (against the thing or just on his leg) next to a shelf. I think it's before Nancy's rant. The jar's right behind his head, above his left shoulder.
