I started to wonder about Larry's housing arrangements.
I'm assuming since most of the town is deserted, there are some spare houses available.
So, did Larry move into one of these houses?

Good question ... by the way, welcome aboard - good to see new members. A great many of the houses were trailers and/or back rooms to shops. Larry started by crashing with Nancy; had the series continued I suspect there might have been a continuing thread of her trying to figure out a way to move him out. I doubt Melvin would have let him crash in any of the land MELCO owned. A very interesting question indeed.

It was shown in the last episode (The Key) of the series that he lived in the back room of the story where Mindy (Nancy's daughter) lived when she wasn't off at college.

Yep, I'm assuming that he stayed with Nancy until she kicked him out, at which point he went back to his car or made arrangements and plans for a house of his own. Or maybe rented out a room at Chang's.

Could be but I'm not sure Jodie could avoid killing him. I don't know which would be worse - that he keeps telling her how to run her store or the smug look when he is proven right! If she ever tries to borrow a gun from Burt, Larry should RUN! By the way, how come Jodie and/or Rosalita don't ever pack a gun. Taylor does (although not always an effective one) and Nancy is pathologically incapable of defending herself or her family but OBVIOUSLY Rosalita knows how to shoot (shotgun in Night). I'd think a rancher would need a firearm just for varmint control if nothing else. Of course, El Blanco might be all the varmint control they need.

Rosalita did carry a gun in the episode Hit and Run.

I didn't think Larry's stay with Nancy was a long term one. He takes the guest room and she doesn't let him overstay his welcome (1 week was all she was willing to give him).
And given that Mindy does return home on occasion, I'm assuming Nancy is keeping that room for her personal use on those occassions. So it's not likely anyone else uses it.
I'm uncertain if I followed the action correctly (I could be mistaken), but I think Tyler gets a six-shot revolver from a drawer in Jodi's shop (very close to the cash register). It kinda sticks in my memory because Burt looks at the gun with a "that's not a man's gun" look.

Actually you guys, if you look veeeeeery carefully in that last episode, you can see that when Larry leaves to head for the store; One, he's actually heading TOWARDS it, which means he can't have been bunking in the back room of the store in Mindy's old room (although I don't ever remember her even having one....), Two, he's heading towards it from the wrong direction to be from Nancy's, and Three, the door and small part of the side of the 'house' that can be seen is of trailer make. So he had his own trailer by that time, which I'm assuming he either bought and moved to Perfection, or had Tyler help him fix up one of the old ones lying around.
One little idea between me and a friend of mine is that Larry comes from a fairly well off-ish family. Not necessarily rich, but well off. Otherwise, it'd be rather hard to just up and move to an entirely new state (let alone a new town) without having some good money in your pocket. Plus, he did buy 8 TICKETS for Tyler's ride in episode 9.
