that would match with Burt's Atlanta Hawks hat. Neither one says anything about being a fan but it seems obvious that Burt is because he has several hats. My baseball hats are various freebies from local companies - I usually wear a cowboy hat but either works. Nice call 412 ...

First, sorry I've been MIA - I'm just getting over a nasty bit of pneumonia. The important stuff - while waiting to see if I'd live I was watching the series. In Frenzy the first time El Blanco goes under the store Nancy goes to stabilize her display case. As the shaking increases she moves her left arm from top shelf to lower while moving right arm from lower to upper shelf. A figure (Shrieker I think) falls off at this time. 30 seconds latter is the exact same scene with the same figure. I know it stretched the scene but a little sloppy editing I thought. Then Jodii asked Tyler if he wants breakfast and they walk toward the store. Cut to Burt and Nancy and desert scene etc. Then in Burt's bunker Tyler says he hasn't eaten since Las Vegas. Wonder why he didn't go get breakfast?

Glad your OK! And about the breakfast, maybe Jodi was going to put it on his tab

412, You have a point there. I like the bottom banner you've added. Cool.

Thanks. Its just something I threw together in paint, and is no where as good as one's that I've seen on other sites.

In Jodie's when El Blanco attacks one of the tongues 'attacks' the camera. On the TV this was a commercial break but it also looked like perhaps the series was going to go 3D. Obviously didn't happen but it could have been cool. Did it look that way to anyone else?

back to my earlier post. Am I imagining things or does Nancy repeat her movements in the early part of the show when El Blanco passes under the store? What do you guys think?

Do you mean when he was going under the store or after he went under? Because I don't remember her ever moving when El Blanco went under the story. But what were they thinking in the first episode leaving everything running at the end when El Blanco was going under their store? That machine that cools their beer, and other cold foods or drinks makes too much noise, and they didn't turn it off?

Just after Tyler has entered the store to 'fill out the forms', Jodi hands him a VHS (remember those?) tape and says it's called 'Burt Gummer - then the seismos go off. everybody goes to battle stations. Burt turns off the fan, Rosallita unplugs the soda machine, Nancy goes to her display case and so on. Nancy has her left arm up on the top shelf, lower arm on the bottom. El Blanco shows up, everything vibrates, a figurine falls and Nancy swaps arm positions. Then after a little more shaking, the exact same figure falls off the top shelf and Nancy makes the exact same arm swap - I think. Then he's gone, fan on, Jodie goes back to tyler and picks up with - Monster hunter'. At least that's the way it looked to me.

I was referring to at the end of the episode when El Blanco bursted through the floor of the store, not the beginning.

Agreed. There was a bit of inconsistency in the battle stations drill within the series and even within an episode. In "The Key" the BG (bad guy) tells Larry to be quiet when EB goes under the store. In other episodes, everyone freezes and then moves on. I guess after the Frenzy episode where EB gets nothing but a lot of pain from Burt's Barrett M82 (nice name choice by the way) he figured out there was no FOOD in the store worth going after. If he'd gotten someone there then maybe but all the worms that got fed in the store in T1 got dead in the desert later thanks to Burt's bombs.

I'm watching T3 but just noticed another of the 'recurring themes'. In Feeding Frenzy Tyler loses his boot. In T3, Burt loses his boot after he's swallowed by the graboid. I do like the way some themes keep recurring in the movie.

I always thought Tyler's hat was an Area 51 ballcap (I'm not an avid baseball fan nor do I live anywhere near Nevada, so if the little gray alien head is representative of a certain team, my mistake).
And captbart, I know what scene you're talking about, and yes, it did happen. They replay the Nancy arm movement scene; bugs the heck outta me every time I watch it. Also, so glad to know I'm not the only one in the world not desperate to see her and Burt get together. Personally, I just see them as close, eccentric friends who kinda act like parents to the valley. That's as close as they get.
