Hi all, I wanted you all to know that while there's currently no sign of a new film to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Tremors films in 2015, I'm currently working on a brand new book about the film franchise and TV series. Seeking Perfection: The Unofficial Guide to Tremors has been in the works for a year or so and I've been interviewing various cast and crew from every incarnation of Tremors. I'm a UK-based film journalist and have been a fan since seeing the first film on the BBC in the early 1990s. I've been waiting for a comprehensive book on the series for years but nobody has written it yet. So I'm doing it myself. Contributors include SS Wilson, Brent Maddock, Ron Underwood, Nancy Wilson, Charlotte Stewart, Ariana Richards, Tony Genaro...and some guy called Michael Gross. Those are just some of the team from Tremors who have agreed to discuss their time running around the desert being chased by giant underground worms. The sequels will be covered in as much depth. The guys at Stampede have been amazing and they're opening up the archives for the first time for this book. I'll be announcing more interviewees as the months go on, both on this thread and over at the new blog, www.tremorsguide.com. I'm now in the process of writing the book so there's still time to add a few more interviews. If you, the fans, have any suggestions for the book, please give me a shout. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll respond here. Here's to 25 years of Graboids! Jon Melville

I stickied this thread so we can keep it on top. Thanks for that, I'm looking forward to sharing my various interviews over the next few months. Charlotte Stewart - Nancy in T1 and T3 - kindly sent me the photo below, taken behind the scenes of the first film. Cameras weren't all that welcome on the sets of any of the films, but luckily there are a few photos here and there...

Sounds pretty awesome, I love books about movies or shows. I got a pretty awesome Jaws book but it doesn't have the sequels. Definitely looking forward to a Tremors one.

Hi fellow Perfectionites! I'm pleased to announce a couple of new interviews for the book. First up is Miguel himself, actor Tony Genaro, who of course starred in both Tremors and Tremors 3. Tony loved his time on the films and has a lot of great stuff to say about being on set in Lone Pine and working with the rest of the team. Sample quote: "I had just gotten off of this film that Robert Redford had directed, and it was a very artsy, very fine, you know...when I saw those creatures for the first time, I thought, "Oh my God, what have I gotten myself into?" I've also had some correspondence with the screenwriter of Tremors 3, Mr John Whelpley. John worked on the first draft of the script after discussion with SS Wilson, Brent Maddock and Nancy Roberts at Stampede. Wilson and Maddock then took their turn at the script to ensure it had the right Tremors tone. I'll have a lot more to announce in the coming months - in the meantime please feel free to head over to Facebook or Twitter for more updates. Jon

I also wish I could go, My girlfriend is originally from LA and her family is still there and we are planning on going there possibly this summer-too bad it isn't then or I'd be all over that.

If you've heard the podcast you'll know that Heather Gummer herself, Reba McEntire, recently took some time out to answer questions about her time on Tremors (and mentioned Tremors 2), but I didn't get a chance to say that last week I also spoke to another leading lady from the Tremors franchise, Gladise "Rosalita Sanchez" Jimenez. Gladise was happy to discuss her time on Tremors: The Series and it seems she had a fantastic time in Mexico, despite some of the problems behind the scenes. I've added more to the blog, including a link back to Gladise's Facebook page if you want to follow what she's up to these days.

Quick update...I've just spent 45 minutes chatting to Melvin Plug himself, Robert Jayne, about his time on Tremors, Tremors 3 and the series - he loved every minute of it and has some great stories for the book. I just hope there's room for everyone I've spoken to, that's around 60 now! Sign up to the email newsletter for the latest news!
