I always liked how the Graboids seemed like they could be real animals, they look so real in the movie it always made me think what if there really was a creature that came from eggs and all died out a long time ago but some eggs just recently hatched and now the creatures are back.....I also like how you learn about the creatures along with the people in the movie. unlike other films when you already know about the creature and what it can do......the fact that you get to learn with the characters was always fun. I also liked how they made a new type of creature in each film..... Also i am a huge fan of movies that are funny but are serious films (does that make since) for example Critters, Return of the Living Dead, Child's play 2. it just always made it more entertaining when you had to think about the comedy instead of it just being a straight out joke....I also like the characters they made for each film they where always so likable you couldn't help but want to see more if them.........
Now that i think of it, I like everything there is about Tremors, I think as long as it has the title Tremors in it I'll probably like it.

I was first brought to Tremors at a very young age. Me and my dad would watch it on CineMax or HBO and I would love it. I was informed on sequels, which resulted in me buying two Attack Packs and every Tremors film on single disc Dvd and Vhs.

I love the fact that the movies have great monster action, memorable characters, and comedy, but arent afraid to be serious when necessary (ex. Miguel's death).

In my not so humble opinion, good SciFi requires you to accept 1 or 2 things and everything else must make sense. No mother ship landing in the last 3 minutes of the film to explain things. Given a Precambrian life form (that's almost a billion years ago!), everything else that happens must make sense. The worms eat most of the vibration creators in an area and morph into 3 (or 4 - depends on what you're watching) small, fast, heat seekers who rapidly reproduce. Once this is done, the food in an area is quickly wiped out so they morph into AB's and fly off to lay their egg in a more fertile food area. Lay dormant for 300 years or so to allow the animal life to recover. The life cycle makes sense. You have got to wonder what they ate 700 million or more years ago but maybe that's just one of the things. Once the stage is set, the best scifi is about the people. Hey, i WANT to BE Burt when i grow up! I've friends that think any kind of preparedness is wrong. "They" will take care of us so we shouldn't do for ourselves. Every opinion about being prepared in between as well. While i agree T4 was not the best movie, what i did like was the growth Hiram went through as he realized no one was going to help if he didn't take care of business. The monsters showed humans in their best and worse. I still don't know why Burt didn't "disappear" Melvin after he got him eaten in T3. That boy would have been El Blanco bait for certain! I have a Brit friend who though it was barbaric to have a gun. I asked him if he intended to call the police if he was attacked and he said yes. So i added, "Oh, you always hire it done, then." (John Wayne - El Dorado) Made him mad until he realized when seconds count the police are only minutes away. Now he is as prepared as the powers that be allow him to be. The people in Perfection all grow in the series. Part of why i like it ... but Melvin needs to be Graboid bait!
