Got tired of the news so I'm watching the Tremors series again. I just noticed in T2; after Burt makes his first kill, Grady and Earl are cleaning Graboid parts off of their truck. I notice that the side mirror on Grady's side is facing forward. I know that in most movies the rear view is missing so the camera in the back seat isn't seen but I just realized. If the side view was placed properly, we'd see the film crew - or is the mirror mounted to the truck and not the door? Also, are those parts from Burt's kill - Earl says 'we heard it over here' not we got parts over here. opinions?

when Earl and Grady are chasing the Graboid, Earl is worried because they're trying something new and says '... digging a trap for us or something.' I just now put it together ... he's referring to the tank trap dug in T1 for the Cat. I don't know why I missed that reference before but ....

Watched T2 again last night. I do LIKE that movie. I never quite figured out how they decided that all of the Shriekers were in front of Burt. They leap to that conclusion but there could easily have been one or two that survived and given their reproductive proclivities - Shrieker Blitzkrieg (to paraphrase Burt in T3). What do you guys think - do Shriekers always travel in packs?

From what has been shown in movies and tv series, yes, 98% of time shriekers are seen in groups while Ass-Blasters are normally seen in either groups of 5 or solo.

I find that an interesting trait ... I can see small groups as an advantage but large groups like in the beginning of T3 would never find enough food. Interesting thought; it would explain why the AB's have to leave an area ... the shrieker phase would have cleaned it out completely!

Shriekers are gluttons for punishment. The punishment is being shot to death. They'd never give up food even if it meant getting shot to death, its the same with any other stage of the graboids in the series...maybe even any creature.

Overdoing it how? I don't necessarily disagree, I just don't see your point. Part of the fun for some of us is to deduce as much about the various critters and people from the shows and series. While I don't 'THINK' any of us actually think the Tremors franchise is a documentary, it is fun (at least for me) to find the location that Burt lists while looking for the underground lab. Checking out the location on Google earth and from satellite data and see how reality compares with 'reel'-ality. Surprisingly good work on the part of the Stampede Team in most cases. In what way do you consider this 'overdoing' it? By the way, thanks for posting. New views and thoughts are always welcome and appreciated.

I was watching T2 the other day - any idea what the video is that Burt is watching when Earl calls? It looks like a WW1 artillery barrage but I'd really like to find the original footage. "THE BIG GUNS POUNDED THE TARGET ...." sounds like the WW1 artillery barrages but ...
Any ideas?
