I've noticed that, as Burt notes in T3, their total lack of tactical skill. The attack is always straight on. In Shriek and Destroy, the little guys do learn (they maneuver behind Tyler and 'exit' the shed) but the attack mode is always a down the throat charge once they spot a target. If they ever got really good at a flanking attack, the folks would be in deep bat guano. Fortunately, Burt seems to be able to terminate their learning curve before it is too late. Came close in 'Night" though. The AB's seem smarter and the worms seem the smartest to me.

After the recent AB posts I got to thinking about Invisibat again. Ya know, that could be one really cool critter. I am really sad we didn't get a season 2 to explore some of the more interesting side effects ... Like, if you got a breeding population of Invisibats would they become an endangered species (at least until they over populated the valley). Would they show up on an IR viewer? They could easily become a favorite resident in the Valley. Drive Melvin NUTS!
Another question, if there is another hatching cycle in Perfection, will the new worm have mix-master in its DNA. Seems like it should and if it proved viable, no telling what new critter we could come up with. Ah, the dreams for a second series that probably will never come true. Sigh.
