I'm sure there's nothing to this (IMDB constantly has wrong information with projects where so little is known) but what appears to be a Tremors 5 page is finally up and it's listed as Tremors 5: Bloodline. www.imdb.com/title/tt4180514/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1Strange that Don Michael Paul, Michael Gross, Jamie Kennedy, and the other names involved aren't listed, but I guess the page is a work in progress.

Just found this, which seems to be further confirming Tremors: Bloodline as the title (or, at least, a working title that was used) za.linkedin.com/pub/irina-wozniak/4b/435/b42It's a profile for a woman who worked as Production Accountant on the film. Note that Chappie is also listed recently on her experience. Chappie shot in South Africa about a year ago. What do you think it means? If it's actually the title, I'm guessing that the "bloodline" refers to the new strain of Graboid and its offspring that we're going to be encountering.
And I just found this! Cuban drug lord, eh? And another update from the same actor:
And more internet sleuthing lead me to a different synopsis via a beer brand's Facebook page! www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=552512538182221&id=464024870364322

I agree. It has a very distinct "Tremors" feel to it. I wonder if that's a carry-over from the Gummer Down Under script or if it was written in for this version of the story?

No idea, but either way...I MUST SEE IT ! I just kind of hope they don't overdo a "guerilla" style of filming with it, where half the movie is filmed with handhelds.

If anyone is interested, I emailed S.S. Wilson and he said that the script stampede wrote in 2004 did not contain a new stage of the Graboid. However, shriekers were never part of the script either, which I found surprising.

However, shriekers were never part of the script either, which I found surprising. Interesting. I wonder what this new creature could be like? I'm still under the impression that it'll be more like a Shrieker than any of the other stages, but that's just a hunch based on Gross' comments. Either way, it's seeming more and more likely that it's an "off-shoot" brought about by a different evolutionary track.

Its that or it replaces the Shrieker stage only. Or like I said , the assblasters come first then the Graboids in this one.

Could be that the ABs and Graboids that we see aren't exactly like the ones we're used to as well.
