Couldnt be more excited, im just as or more excited for this movie then Jurassic World. 2016 is a long time, They might be trying to do it right-one thing I kind of want to see is them try and make it a little more scary like the first two Tremors.

Considering they're marketing it as a sci-fi comedy I doubt it. But they're definitely not rushing this, they probably want a bunch of more sequels to keep their DTV department going.

Eh, Tremors 1 was funny but still had some fairly suspenseful parts. It has to be the right mix.

Eh, Tremors 1 was funny but still had some fairly suspenseful parts. It has to be the right mix. Sure, like any other monster film. But it was hardly advertised as a monster comedy or something like that, was it? I don't think it's going to get any scarier than "Tremors 3: Back to Perfection" was. Maybe that "unexpected surprise" will prove me wrong.

That's just an edited down version of the press release which has been posted a few times. But thanks!

I just realised the press release explicitly mentions Ass Blasters.
"[The] all-new adventure that travels halfway around the world to South Africa, the Graboids and the Ass Blasters [are doing stuff.]"
The idea Stampede had was to focus on the egg laying process of the Ass Blasters. So there's at least something in there, probably, that Stampede is behind.
Sorry if this was obvious to all of you, but I just realised.

I was thinking the same thing. Even with a new setting and, probably, a completely revised story, it seems likely that that bit made it into the new script.

That sort of sucks, I hate to hear it has an even lower budget-sounds like Universal doesnt really care.
