Last night's episode was great I thought. Very intense, even during just the talking scenes.
And at the end, with Lori talking to Rick, I can't wait to see what becomes of that. I know she want's him to kill you-know-who, but I have a feeling that, in the process, it will end up more like how that character died in the comics. Can't wait to see if I'm right!

Everything always needs more Daryl! Just a fun fact: Robert Kirkman, creator of the comics, likes the character of Daryl so much that he was actually considering adding him to the books

If this is the one you're talking about, that's Abraham, not Daryl images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110920123461/walkingdead/images/thumb/7/75/Walking_dead_92_web_72.jpg/283px-Walking_dead_92_web_72.jpgHe's a character that won't be in the show for a long time, if at all, depending on how close they stick to the comics. And I have no idea what happens in that issue. I buy the Trade Paperbacks, which collect six issues at a time. I find its easier that way than reading the individual issues. So that particular issue will be in volume 16 whenever that comes out (probably around June). For reference, the point that they're at in the show right now is Volume 2 In the show, Daryl seems like hes pretty much a replacement for a comic character named Tyrese (who, like Daryl, is an awesome character, although he is quite different in a lot of aspects). I really do like that the show is doing a lot of things differently. Keeps people like me surprised, which is a good thing. Can't wait for Sunday's episode! EDIT: They cast the Governor for season 3! www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=55265This is excellent news! The Governor was definitely the best villain in the comics. I really can't wait to see how the character is translated on screen. All I can really say is, expect season 3 to be very, very intense.

The ending of yesterday's episode has to be one of the biggest shocks the show has had so far...wow... That was well done.

Really loved the finale. Very intense, lots of action, great dialogue (Rick's speech at the end was great), and lots of awesome hints on what to expect next season! I'm very satisfied!

wish I could say the same, I liked most of it but I really am unexcited about this Michonne chick, its a little too comic-booky for my taste. Just doesn't feel like it fits right in the show universe. I liked the farm seige however, that was awesome. Rick's speech was good too but he seems kinda unhinged with the whole Rick-tatorship, I would have left. lol.

Hmm, I can certainly see where you could get that out of Michonne's brief appearance, but I don't think there's too much "comic-booky" stuff to worry about.
Yes, she uses a katana, but don't expect her to jump around like a ninja or anything like that. And her two "pet" zombies with the missing jaws and arms, they probably won't be around very long. They are basically zombie repellent, like how Rick and Glenn covered themselves in the zombie gore early in season one.
Michonne is a psychologically troubled character, and the stuff going on in the world affected her a bit differently than it did other people, but what makes her a bit different also makes her one of the most interesting characters the series has to offer. I'm very excited to see how she is handled.

Yep, Merle is coming back next season, but he and Michonne are definitely different people Season 3 seems to have a lot of great stuff on the way! Merle's return, the introduction of Michonne and the Governor, and the prison! We're in for one heck of a season, and I can't wait!
