It seemed kinda stupid, but if it's Tremors, I like it.

LOVE, i loved it. it really explained how everything happened, the way the grabiods hatched and the fact they were held up in the wooden supply house have the tounges ripping boards away one by one was AWSOME

I spent half the film cringing at the non gun loving Gummer.
But the fact all of the Gummer familys famous lines all originated in this film made up for it. And i liked the ending.
4/5

Well, we do get black hand kelly to teach him about that so at the end he becomes the Gummer we all know and love.

The guy who played Black Hand Kelly was actually a pretty cool actor.

Love the movie. As a prequel, and a DTV one at that, it did a tremendous job and didn't ruin a damn thing about the first three movies, which prequels tend to do sometimes. I easily prefer this over part 3 and never really understood why this is regarded as the worst by so many fans. They went back to practical effects instead of the sometimes awful CGI effects of the third one.

Legend Begins is on par with Aftershocks for me, tied right behind the original.

Legend Begins is on par with Aftershocks for me, tied right behind the original. Same here, I'd go for Tremors, Tremors 2, Tremors 4 and Tremors 3 in that order.

My biggest peeve with this film is how closely it mimics the original Tremors film, but it's far from something that annoys me enough to outright dislike the film. I like it, don't love it. But I do love that they tried to take the series in sort of a new genre direction. Would have been interesting to see them do more of that eventually.

I see it as an homage and tying the two movies together while providing lots of winks to us diehard fans of the franchise. IMO, they succeeded.

All the prejudice this Tremors suffers is unnecessary, it's a good movie. I managed to amuse myself with him. We have the animatronics graboids but well done of all.
