to keep the Tremors Movies section organized and not filled with threads for each movie all jumbled together i changed the name to Tremors in General and then made a board for each movie for more organization.

I ran across something in one of the threads talking about the deleted scenes including the original opening for T1. I often don't get around to watching on the stuff on the CD so I hadn't done so on the 'Attack Pack' until late yesterday. There was more there than on my original T1 movie CD. if you haven't done so yet, check the scenes. The original opening let you know why Edgar was up on the tower. A little more information never hurts.

I've started seeing Tremors on the TV movie cable (not SciFy thought) channels a couple of times in the past week. That's great but I wish they'd also show the others!

AMC has been playing it as part of Fearfest. I didn't watch, but I listened to it while I was taking my broken XBox apart. (Listening is just as good as watching to me, since I have every scene memorized and can replay the whole movie in my head )

Something that has always bothered me a bit ... When we first see Burt and Heather, Burt is telling Walter that the ammo he has is 'hollow points but not Hydra Shok hollow points', Walter replies that 'bullets are bullets' and walks off. My problem is that Burt appears to be holding a 20 round box of rifle ammo, not a 50 (or even 20) round box of pistol ammo. I've never seen any Hydra Shok rifle rounds. Have I missed something?

I like it that Earls 'weapon of choice' is a 7.5 inch barrel, single action army colt. I thought that was just too cool. then add the 1873 Winchester ... rather a nice fit.

I wonder if the writers had the series in mind when they wrote the first one. I've been watching the movies in reverse order and I've noticed quite a few themes that run through the series and movies. We started a similar thread in the series boards but I noticed several themes here as well. The communications problems in all the movies. Burt having to abandon his house/mine in T1, T3, and T4. The skid to a stop in T2, T3, T4(the wagon- ferocious arrival). The gun wall in every movie and some of the series. The recurrence of things that go BOOM! Others?

Nope, they didn't have sequel ideas in mind. They made the movies as they went.
