Yep, that line is SO Burt. He likes being the hero so hates it when his preps are part of the problem. The line that did get picked up and continued was the 'A man has got to know his geology (terrain). That is a recurring theme in the series as well. Good advice for everyone. ;D

Here's another one: "That was my big chance and I blew it...ON A GOD DAMNED BIG BIRD AND HIS SCRAWNY GIRL FRIEND!" That is a recurring theme in the series as well. Good advice for everyone. ;D It has to be if you want to survive even one episode of the tv series.

OK, another line ... Grady's ' I KNOW that song'. Grady is so NOT a survivor. The fact he hears music in the middle of nowhere doesn't seem to set any warning flags. You are out in the middle of nowhere, hunting beasties that think of you as snack food, something totally impossible is happening, and he 'KNOWs' that song. Glad he got his theme park because he doesn't make it anywhere near Perfection.

Another line ... Burt getting ready to go get the bombs ... " I've got a plan .......... sort of" classic

When Grady and the others are running and they go through the door and see there is no walls on the building.

There are times when the simple expletives are the only things appropriate. You are right, that is eloquence in the heartfelt, one word expression of the we are so screwed emotion. Up there with Jodi in T3 in the porta john.

I have been quoting Tremors so much more in my daily life. Another quote I like from Tremors 2 is;
Burt: "It's gonna be big!" Grady: "Is it gonna be today?" Burt: "Grady, get your ass down!"

From T2 I really like 'MEMO: Perhaps 4 pounds of C4 is a bit ............ excessive'. (Bounce of pebble off of helmet) The simple elegance of that understatement is CLASSIC.

Among so many great lines, it is easy to miss good ones. Like Kate's laughter and 'that's a bit much don't you think?" SILENCE ... "Ok, maybe I'm wrong but I hope I'm right!" This being Tremors country, she is, of course, WRONG.

Well, "it's gonna be big... big! big!!!" is probably the best one, lots of others just very sligthly behind.
Of those not mentioned before, my fav is MRE vs Earl:
- The stuff tastes like a toilet paper. - Earl, that is the toilet paper.
